The World Karate Commission is an international sport-karate organization that brings the top competitors from its member nations together every year at the WKC World Championships. Athletes qualify through their national federations — each led by a National Team President — at national and regional qualifying events.

Competition spans point sparring, continuous sparring, forms (kata), and weapons across age and weight divisions, in a safe, family-friendly environment built on respect and sportsmanship.
